  • Life coaching is a personalized approach to helping individuals achieve their goals and aspirations. It is a collaborative process that empowers individuals to take charge of their lives, make positive changes, and reach their full potential. Life coaches provide guidance, support, and accountability to help clients overcome obstacles, develop new skills, and create a more fulfilling life.

    At B Kind Therapy, we understand that life can present us with numerous challenges thus needing a variety of tools to assist us to overcome obstacles.   • Having a trusted clinical supervisor serves as a beacon of support and guidance during the formative stages of your mental health career journey. Their expertise, mentorship, and emotional support can significantly impact your professional development, ethical practice, and overall well-being as a mental health professional. For MFT and LPCC interns, I provide individual clinical supervision and together we will review legal and ethical practices, conduct case conceptualizations, and prepare for the California State Board licensing exams. Individual supervision is scheduled on a weekly basis to ensure that all hours gained are counted towards your total licensure hours.

  • Britney Calhoun of B Kind Therapy has been invited to several speaking opportunities to share her knowledge and expertise with a wider audience, help to educate the public as a mental health advocate and reduce stigma.   • B Kind Therapy believes in the power of advocacy and involvement in movements and initiatives that empower and support communities. B Kind Therapy currently serves on two advisory boards: The L-Project, which provides support that is dedicated to mentoring LGBTQ+ youth by using art as a way to offer a heart forward approach to providing our community with the critical resources, education and activities they need to understand all of the various ways to improve their overall sense of wellbeing and The V Collective, which is a co-working & community space for professional women of color.
